Anna is American/Irish/Australian. Actor/writer/director;
BAFTA voting member. Her work in film, TV and Theatre spans from Australia to the UK, Europe and the US. Anna received an Emmy® Nomination for her latest film, (Writer/Director) Take My Heart, in Outstanding Daytime Fiction Program. She wrote and directed the family drama which screened at Oscar and BAFTA qualifying Film Festivals receiving wonderful reviews.Story and produced by her partner, Peter Sands, and their company VisionFire Films. The film premiered at historic TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood with the Micheaux Film Festival. The NY premiere was in March, 2023 at The Museum of the Moving Image with the Women's International Film Festival.

Including: FIrst Place, Platinum Award at BAFTA/LA Member's Film Festival for Chasing Chekhov (writer/actor/Producer), shot in Prague and Pasadena. The film is based on her oft produced play.
The Filmmaker Award at La Femme Film Festival for her directorial debut, The Aerial Girl.
Previous films penned by Anna, including those she directed, or wrote and starred in, have screened at Academy Qualifying Festivals worldwide, won many accolades and sold to TV. Several were produced by her film Company, VisionFire Films. Her directorial debut , TheAerial Girl, a festival favorite, was produced by Motherhorse Productions.
ACTING CREDITS: Anna acted in film, theatre, TV and commercials in Sydney while studying for her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts and Art History. She then studied with renowned acting teachers prior to going to London. Studied at The Actors' Center; Voice and Shakespeare at RADA. Played leading roles on stage as well as Repertory Theatres throughout the UK.
Anna studied script interpretation with Stella Adler in New York then proceeded to perform in Off-Broadway shows as well as on the Soaps. She added to her TV and film credits after relocating to Los Angeles where she has been writing screenplays, plays and directing award winning shorts. Her latest film, Take My Heart, is being developed as a TV series with other LA stories Anna has written to comprise the spec TV pilot, The Other Day, some segments shot in english and Spanish.
A pandemic short which Anna wrote, directed and acted in: Love in the Time of Isolation, won Best Experimental Film at the White Nights Film Festival and screened at Queens World Film Festival ; Paris International FF; London Rolling FF, Venice Shorts and Block Island FF.
