There was a fabulous reading of Anna's latest play,
Memory's Child at The Echo Theatre Company in Los Angeles on
January 7, 2008
November, 7th, 2007 - Anna is just completing a run of the hit play ANON at Stage 52 Playhouse in Los Angeles. Written my Kate Robin, writer/producer of Six feet under, the play has received critics choice and rave reviews. Anna plays the professor feminist, Rita, who professes to have the solution to the battle of the sexes.

THE RED SCARF
A short film written by Anna Simone Scott, directed by Peter
Sands, starring Anna and veteran actress Frances Bay, will be
screening at the New York Downtown Short Film Festival
on April 27th, 2006.

A beguiling
story about an aging actress , Vivian Barry, who is
forced to examine her past as well as the meaning of her present,
when a long forgotten woman, Alice, reappears unexpectedly in
her life. Anna plays the rootless and heartbroken Alice.
The Red

Clermont-Ferrand, France.

Anna plays
a self involved painter, Georgia, who is forced to come to terms
with her lack of moral judgement when faced with her fourteen
year old daughter’s sexual promiscuity. Their relationship comes
full circle when Geogia’s former lover reappears on the scene.
First staged
reading took place in Los Angeles in 2005.

*CHASING CHEKHOV
Feature film to be made; based on award winnning play of the
same
title written by Anna Simone Scott.
A husband
and wife acting team experiencing a turbulent marriage are shooting
the period film "Chasing Chekhov" which ironically
reflect their own situation. While shooting in Prague, the actor
playing Chekhov falls ill and production is stopped as they
urgently search for a replacement. Nicole, the wife and star
of the movie, believes she has met the reincarnated Anton Chekhov
on the St. Charles bridge and insists that he play the role
of Chekhov in the movie.
A contemporary story intertwined with the period love story
(1899) about a Russian writer, Lydia Avilov, who is in lust
with Chekhov and in trouble with her husband.

* GIRL ON A TRAIN
Written by Peter Sands. VisionFire Film project. Psychological
Thriller. When there’s a murder in her street, Katia believes

the truth about her lover or descends into madness alone in
the permanent night of the Los Angeles club scene. Script available.
